A (humble?) Brag

Before I begin, I just want to thank you all SO must for your responses and comments regarding my previous post. Your kind and encouraging words were so sweet to hear, and I am very thankful for each and every one of you who took the time to read that.

But now I need to change things up a bit around here and take a few moments to brag.

No, not about myself (seriously, that would be so rude. Give me some credit…)

But rather, my hubby.

I don’t do this nearly enough, so here we go:

For those of you who don’t know, which is probably most of you considering he doesn’t bring it up much, my wonderful hubby has lately been working not one, but two very labor intensive jobs. This on top of recently becoming a daddy, and combined with starting up school again.

He’s one busy dude.

But I so appreciate how hard he is willing to work for his little family.

I love the fact the he is willing to put in extra hours so I can stay home with the Mini and be the full time mom I have always wanted to be.

I am still in awe of how wonderful he was (ok well still is…) right after the Mini was born in taking care of both a brand new baby and a somewhat damaged wife. I don’t think I changed many diapers that first week.

And I am so incredibly proud of him for going through (again) the college application process, getting accepted (again) into college to work toward (again) a new degree. I mean, who really likes school to begin with, but to do it all over again?

I may be a little biased, but I think he’s a pretty great hubby, and I honestly don’t have the words to express just how thankful I am for him.

So an incredibly simple blog post is going to have to do.

Thank you, for your willingness to work. Your servants heart. Your awesome love for our daughter. For putting up with me at my best and my worst (both can be difficult I know 🙂 ). And most of all for letting me share all of this with you.

I love you!
